Seems more and more things require memorization, and the bad guys keep trying to hack into my keychain or credit cards or files, so 1 Password new version 3 answers them all by keeping track of it all for me and it does it effortlessly. Aren’t you impressed already. After I downloaded it from their website, and it installed easily, I set up my browsers – FireFox and Safari to work with it, so now it remembers all my usual haunts, and plugs in my information for me. That is a fabulous. And since this new version is Snow Leopard compliant, it adds features to now remember Identities and let’s me attach files, so let’s say you have multiple id’s in Twitter, it remembers them all for you.

Also now included is it keeping track of Software licenses. The next feature that really worked for me was Go and Fill, a simple way of inputing your information on sites, like your electronic banking site, shopping, anywhere, and it’s easily accessible via your web browser, from the dock clicking on 1 Password application, or via edit menu at top. It worked great for me. I liked Strong Password Generator too, a feature that is helpful in today’s cyber attacking, and phishing days. So I tried it by going to a site I consider important to me, and one that I don’t want to have to remember, so 1 Password allowed me decide how hard I wanted it, meaning you have a slider you move to strength needed. It create a series of letters, numbers, capitals, etc that I would never know. But it remembers it for you too, so you don’t have to worry.

I could vary the length up to 50 characters, wow. I chose 14, that seemed enough. It works easily. These are the features I’ve used so far, and like them, I highly recommend 1 Password 3, that works so well, but the complete list is below, and remember there are new versions for iPhone and iPad, I will hopefully be doing a review of the new version for them soon: New Setup Screens.
